Your role in Tenova:  Process Engineer
Description: 

We are looking for a Process Engineer willing to join our team located in Vienna to guide and support the technical execution of our acid regeneration plant projects. Working within a small, specialized group, you will contribute from early sales support through project execution and commissioning. The role is rooted in proven engineering principles: precise analysis, clear documentation, and reliable implementation. The position also includes involvement in research activities focused on process and equipment improvements.

You will take responsibility of the following activities:

  • Analyze, monitor, and optimize process operations.
  • Provide technical support during sales activities.
  • Participate in project execution – from basic design through on-site implementation.
  • Support commissioning activities worldwide
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, process descriptions, P&ID, and calculations.
  • Technical support during procurement process.
  • Contribute to research and development projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.

 

Required profile:

  •  Bachelor Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with process focus, or HTL (mechanical) with relevant experience is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in similar roles in the industrial Plan Engineering or Machinery sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity and ability to use specific software (e.g. 2D and 3D Software, MS Office, SAP).
  • General interest in thermal and chemical processes.
  • Structured and methodical working style based on established engineering practices.
  • Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) and additional language is an added value
  • Good relational skills, team working and proactivity.
  • Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
