Your role in Tenova: Project Engineer

Description:

Your will carry on the following activities:

  • Responsible to lead the technical execution of projects related to direct reduction plants.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule in alignment with the project timeline.
  • Prepare comprehensive project progress reports for the organization, detailing key milestones achieved and/or to be achieved, status, and any identified challenges.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management team to develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.
  • Provide technical support during supply contracts negotiations and in the technical evaluation process.
  • Coordinate engineering activities to ensure adherence to approved operational criteria and confirm equipment functionality during various plant operating conditions.       
  • Supervise technical revisions of engineering proposals to ensure design integrity and prevent major faults.
  • Develop and keep on track the documentation of technical lessons learned from the project(s).

 

Required Profile:

  • Chemical Engineer. Master’s degree (preferable)
  • 3 - 5 years in Petrochemical or at Oil & Gas Industry
  • Proficient Knowledge of English (writing and speaking) is mandatory.
  • Experience on: Process Flow Diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, Mechanical Drawings, Instrumentation & Control, preferably participation in Hazop, Hazid.
  • Capable to lead a conference meeting (virtually and in person), capable to generate minutes of meeting.
  • Willingness to travel overseas.
