Title: Project Manager

Position Summary
The Project Manager will lead industrial projects within an environment focused on mechanical/ chemical engineering principles. This role requires managing complex projects in industrial plants, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
The Project Manager will be accountable for ensuring that projects are properly chartered, planned and executed within agreed to parameters for scope, cost, schedule and quality. As a strategic business partner, you will expertly work with key stakeholders, Operations and Sales teams to drive and support optimal results for each project.
The ideal candidate is a driven and results oriented leader, who is accountable successful development of the project's procedures of initiation, planning, execution, regulation and closure as well as the guidance of the project team's operations towards achieving all the agreed upon goals within the set scope, time, quality and budget standards.

Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the sales management in drafting sales proposals particularly for complex projects.
- Periodically verify the work in progress for on-going projects and analyze the relevant periodical reports.
- Coordinate with the Operation Manager the workload of PE and FE allocated to the projects and decide corrections, if needed.
- Guarantee the project planning emission in due time, according to the contacts.
- Allocate and supervise Site Managers when needed.
- Ensure that internal resources keep knowledge of the Tenova QMS.
- Collaborate with the business development and sales departments.
- Lead negotiations with contractors.
- Oversee contract administration, contract progress and change control.
- Manage third parties under sub-contract.
- Implement and maintain efficient project controls.
- Facilitate accurate forecasting and achieve contractual project schedules cost.
- Participate in strategic planning
Position Specific Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
- 5–10 years of experience in project management within industrial environments or plant operations.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and chemical processes in heavy industry.
- PMP certification or equivalent is an asset.
- Experience in metals and mining or combustion-intensive processes is an asset
- Familiarity with advanced process control technologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Gantt charts) and engineering software (AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally -Since international travel is a requirement, you must have a valid passport, and be eligible to gain unlimited entry into foreign countries and continents, including USA, South America, Asia, and Europe.
