Your role in Tenova:  Structural Engineer
Description: 

We are looking for a professional Structural Engineer willing to join the Engineering department of our Business Unit Tenova Material Handling.

 

You will be involved in the following activities:

  1. Provide feedback results from the calculation to the specialist functions involved in the project
  2. Elaborate detailed calculation and design of the supporting structures using suitable software
  3. Check the calculation carried out by external engineering companies
  4. Collect the design standard codes for different countries and for several equipment or structures
  5. Select and analyse the most appropriate technological solutions, performing relevant calculations
  6. Elaborate design criteria and the most adequate dimensioning for all the system components
  7. Provide input data to the specialist functions involved in the project
  8. Participate, if necessary, in the start-up of the component/plant/product

 

Required profile:

  1. Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. At least 2/3 years of experience in similar role
  3. Good knowledge of English, written and spoken;
  4. Teamworking, coordination with site team (electrical, automation) and end user
  5. Willing to travel
