Your role in Tenova:  Safety Specialist
Description: 

We are looking for a candidate willing to join our QHSE team, with a passion for continuous improvement in HSE and the motivation to work in a multicultural and stimulating environment.

You will be part of the QHSE team and will be involved in supporting the QHSE coordinator in the following activities:

  • Managing all HSE aspects of the construction site both in Italy and abroad, starting with:
  • Preparing documentation to satisfy the professional technical verification of our employees and subcontractors
  • Analyzing Safety and Coordination Plans and/or Interference Risk Assessment Documents
  • Preparing Tenova's Operational Plans and analyzing and evaluating Subcontractors' Operational Safety Plans
  • Conducting Inspections and Audits on Site
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective measures to prevent similar events from recurring.
  • Conduct risk assessments, analyze data, and recommend corrective action plans.
  • Monitor, inspect, and evaluate hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and pollution control equipment.
  • Oversee emergency response plans and coordinate fire prevention activities.

  • Monitor compliance with local and state regulations related to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental programs.

 

Required profile:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar fields;
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Candidates must be open-minded, humble, courageous, determined, and able to work flexibly in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Motivation to work in a multicultural and stimulating environment.
