Your role in Tenova:  Project Logistics Specialist
Description: 

We are looking for a candidate willing to join our Logistic Department Team, with a passion for project cargo logistic management and coordination.

You will be a part of our Logistic Department Team and you will be involved in supporting Global Logistics Manager in the following activities:

  • Set-up of project logistics activities subject to contract and letter of credit requirements;
  • Conducting tenders for transport assignments by providing technical and economic analysis of proposed solutions and determining the best strategy to be implemented;
  • Interacting with Project Managers and Project Engineers in order to optimize shipment lots and load composition;
  • Supporting the Logistic Manager in the control and coordination of the logistics partner and third party suppliers;
  • Supporting the Logistic Manager in process review and drafting procedures.
  • Supporting PMs in the periodic control of logistics costs and in the updating of estimation to completion  for comparison with the budget;
  • Analyze draft of contracts and  letter of credit supporting sales department in their good finalizing;
  • Continuous updating on any new regulations concerning transport/shipping certificates/double use aspects

 

Required profile

  • Master Degree in Management - Logistics Engineering or similar fields;
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in international project cargo transports;
  • Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) and additional language is an added value;
  • Responsibility, autonomy, accuracy, reliability and ability to prioritize
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and excellent communication skills;
  • Motivation to work in a multicultural and challenging context.
