Mechanical Designer - Piping
Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer specialized in piping design to join our Downstream Technical department, responsible for piping systems design and sizing, as well as plant machinery, ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, and budget requirement.
Candidate will take responsibility of the following activities:
- Perform 2D and 3D piping design, including layout development and assembly drawings for plant machinery and related systems
- Defining and compiling the Bill Of Material;
- Prepare layouts showing to Client how the equipment will be installed in their plant;
- Develop mechanical aspects of a project taking into consideration, at the due time, aspects such as Functionality, Safety, Structural, Control and Transport;
- Participate, when necessary, to inspections and meetings at suppliers/ sites/ production/ customer/ manufacturing premises;
- Keep in touch with the work team.
Required profile:
- Mechanical High School Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- A few years of experience in similar roles in the industrial Plant Engineering or Machinery sector is a plus;
- Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D piping design and of PLM software (Autocad Plant, Advance Steel and Inventor);
- Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) and additional language is an added value;
- Good relational skills, team working and proactivity.
