Your role in Tenova:  CBAM Intern
Description: 

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Supply Chain team and support activities related to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), a key regulatory framework impacting procurement, import flows, and sustainability practices across the organization.

The intern will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of supply chain, sustainability, and regulatory compliance, contributing to the implementation and continuous improvement of Tenova’s CBAM processes.

He/she will carry on the following activities:

  • Support the collection and validation of carbon emissions data from international suppliers
  • Assist in maintaining and updating CBAM datasets and documentation for reporting purposes
  • Contribute to the monitoring of import flows subject to CBAM regulation
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, and Sustainability teams to ensure compliance along the supply chain
  • Support communication with suppliers regarding CBAM data requirements and deadlines
  • Assist in preparing reports and analysis on CBAM impacts (e.g. Total Cost of Ownership, ESG implications)
  • Help ensure documentation is audit-ready and traceable

Required profile:

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree student or recent graduate in: Engineering, Economics, or related fields
  • Strong interest in sustainability, ESG topics, and supply chain processes
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail (data validation and reporting are key)
  • Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work in a multifunctional and international environment
