To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a Sales Manager for Plant Engineering (m/f/d).

 

You will take responsibility of the following activities:

  • Project planning for customer inquiries regarding the construction and modernization of thermal processing plants
  • Overall management of a product or technology area as part of the “Product Home” responsibility
  • Development of customer-specific concepts and proposals from both technical and commercial perspectives
  • Preparation of technical specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Conceptual support in the creation of designs and plant layouts
  • Presentation and negotiation of our proposals with international customers
  • Coordination of the development and optimization of our technology with a view to market competitiveness
  • Strategic planning of product development and market activities

 

Required profile:

  • Degree in engineering with a focus on process or thermal engineering or comparable technical training
  • At least three years of experience in technical sales in international plant engineering
  • Strong negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and excellent intercultural communication skills
  • Understanding of commercial contracts and strategic thinking
  • Very good German and English skills; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally extensively
