Your role in Tenova:  Electrical Project Engineer
Description: 

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Project Engineer to strengthen our electrical engineering activities and support the development of international projects, contributing to the preparation of technical offers and acting as a key interface between commercial and technical functions in a dynamic, international environment.

You will take care of the following activities:

  • Support the Sales department in the preparation of quotations for our international projects:
    • Advising customers on feasible technical solutions
    • Defining electrical engineering requirements
    • Cost and schedule estimation
    • Presentation of offers to customers
  • Requesting quotations for electrical components from suppliers
  • Acting as an interface between Sales and the Electrical Engineering department

Required profile:

  • Successfully completed technical education (Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, Technician, Master Craftsman) or comparable qualification
  • Experience in electrical design for plant engineering is an advantage
  • Experience in project planning and cost estimation
  • Willingness to travel internationally (e.g. Europe, China, USA, Mexico, Brazil, India): approx. 5–10%
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with a high level of responsibility
  • Good command of English
