Your role in Tenova:  CE - Conformity and Health & Safety Expert
Description: 
We are looking for a CE Conformity and Health & Safety Expert to support the company in activities related to CE compliance, plant safety, and the management of HSE processes. The role will be responsible for risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and the definition of safety standards at company level.
 
You will carry on the following activities:

CE Conformity and Plant Safety:

  • Responsibility for creating and maintaining hazard analyses and risk assessments
  • Conducting and coordinating HAZOP studies and advising specialist departments on safety‑related topics
  • Ensuring compliance with EU directives and international standards, including deriving constructive modifications
  • Preparation/management of technical documentation, manufacturer/conformity declarations, and coordination of CE marking
  • Inspection of safety‑relevant components and systems (including SIL and PL classification)

Occupational Health & Safety (HSE):

  • Preparing workplace risk assessments (construction sites, offices, etc.) and defining measures and safety guidelines to minimize risks and prevent accidents
  • Emergency management: preparation of specific evacuation plans, first‑aid concepts, and crisis response plans
  • Conducting inspections and audits
  • Optimizing processes and regularly updating product and operational safety standards
  • Employee briefings and training on safety and health topics

Profile required:

  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or comparable field
  • Professional experience as a commercial project and order manager in an industrial company
  • Good knowledge of contract law and a basic technical understandingù
  • Team spirit, independence, and the ability to work responsibly
  • Very good German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
