Automation Specialist
Description:
We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer who will join our Automation Department in Duisburg and will contribute to the development, commissioning, and optimization of advanced industrial furnace systems within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
You will take care of the following activities:,
- Independent development of application software for complete industrial furnace systems
- Close cooperation with technical departments during the project and order execution phases

Commissioning of the developed software on site at our international construction sites

Technical point of contact for our customers in the field of automation
- Support in the development of new plants and processes in cooperation with the Process Engineering department
Required profile:
- Successfully completed technical education (Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, Instrumentation and Control Technician) or comparable qualification
- Experience as an automation engineer in plant engineering is an advantage
- Knowledge in the application and development of software using systems such as Simatic Manager and TIA Portal
- Knowledge of control and automation engineering
- Knowledge of WinCC and WinCC
- Flexible is an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally (e.g. Europe, China, USA, Mexico, Brazil, India): approx. 15–25%
- Team-oriented mindset, independence, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Solid command of the English language
