Accounting Specialist
Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist willing to join our Finance team. You will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting processes while supporting an international and dynamic business environment.
You will carry on the following activities:
- Support in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/HGB
- General ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounting, including bank processing and invoice verification
- Support during the year-end audit and assistance with the group audit
- Special analyses related to accounting matters as well as consulting business departments on accounting issues
- Support and control with analyses and questions regarding IFRS and HGB valuations
Required profile:
- Degree with a focus on Accounting, Financial Reporting, Auditing, or commercial training with further qualification as IFRS International Certified Accountant
- Professional experience in auditing and/or in accounting department of an international manufacturing company
- Confident use of SAP FI / SAP CO is required
- Experience in auditing or preparing financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
- Strong knowledge of accounting and group reporting according to IFRS/HGB
- Affinity for optimizing accounting-related processes
- Team spirit, independence, and a responsible working style
- Fluent German and English skills
