Senior 3D Piping Specialist

We are looking for a 3D Piping Specialist Senior to join our Plant Engineering Team in the Special & Turn-key Projects Group of the Upstream Business Unit.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology and motivation to work in a multicultural and international environment characterized by high technological complexity. 

You will report to the Head of Plant Engineering, with functional reporting to the Project Engineering Manager/ Piping & Layout Lead Engineer of the projects you are assigned to. The other main interfaces will be the other Disciplines Lead Engineers and Engineers, Project Director and Manager, Project Procurement Team, Quality and HSE Project Team, Project Control Team as well as Client Technical Team and Suppliers.

You will be responsible for the following activities:

•    CAD administration for 3D software (e.g. AVEVA E3D) : managing of piping specification, components, libraries and reports; managing of databases, , licenses and external interfaces (2D/3D), user accounts.
•    Managing BIM models for 3D design review sessions, identifying and resolving design and construction issues (e.g. clash detection).
•    For large and complex steel and process plants, managing the outsourcing of piping & layout engineering to develop the 3D model in accordance with contract specifications, design codes, quality standards and safety requirements.
•    For large and complex steel and process plants, develop Piping & layout engineering of the Balance of Plant (BoP), i.e. the Scope of Supply not covered by individual Tenova Product Lines. Typical deliverables include lay-out drawings, 2D studies, piping arrangements, isometric drawings, MTOs.
•    Support Site Technical Office and Construction/Commissioning team during erection and commissioning phases.

Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineering or secondary school diploma.
•    Professional knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g. AVEVA E3D), Autocad, BIM software (e.g. Navisworks).
•    Minimum 8 years of experience in piping & layout engineering in complex projects for steel, oil&gas, power industries, including coordination and supervision of engineering subcontractors.
•    Knowledge of major international Piping Codes.
•    Proficient in English.
•    Ability to manage relationships with Client/Partners/Suppliers technical experts.  
•    Willingness to travel.
•    Collaborative and proactive approach, teamwork ability, problem solving skills and flexibility.
•    Strong coordination and planning skills.
