Your role in Tenova:  QHSE Specialist
Description: 

We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our QHSE Team, passionate about continuous HSE improvement and eager to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare internal documentation for Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety systems (procedures, operating instructions, etc.)
  • Support implementation and maintenance of QHSE management systems across all business phases
  • Execute internal audits for Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety systems
  • Ensure compliance with Italian and international regulations and internal procedures
  • Collaborate to identify risks, assess hazards, and implement preventive and protective measures
  • Promote and monitor health, safety, and environmental initiatives
  • Assist supervisors in enforcing safety obligations and proper use of protective equipment
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Coordinate with external labs for safety and environmental checks
  • Manage site environmental permits and liaise with public agencies during inspections
  • Maintain records related to health, safety, and environmental programs
  • Foster a strong HSE culture within the company

Required Profile:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Safety or Environmental Engineering (or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of HSE standards, including temporary sites (D.Lgs. 81/08)
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently
  • Open-minded, team-oriented, flexible, and determined
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Previous experience in consulting or metalworking/construction companies preferred
  • Availability for short business trips
