Project Electrical Engineer

(Ref. TN/PR ELE- 2025)

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer, with a strong passion for technology and motivation to work within a multicultural and challenging environment.

You will work supporting the project development with focus on the electrical part, taking into consideration contract requirements and economic impact.

You will develop the basic design within the Workgroup and with engineering Sub‐Suppliers, with attention to cost-saving and respect of offer/contract.

You will take responsibility of the following activities:

• Plans the project activities and necessary documentation to be produced.
• Prepare technical solutions for the project and participates to meetings with the client
• Interface with other functions for the proper execution of the project
• Verify compliance to applicable standards, codes and regulations
• Define with the Project referents (PM or Proposal) the necessary type and characteristics of the equipment to be installed
• Prepare and verify necessary engineering output before delivering to the client
• Define the plant distribution single line diagram and main sizing of Medium Voltage and Low voltage equipment’s
• Prepare the specifications for purchasing of electrical equipments.
• Participate, if necessary, to inspections, test and meetings at suppliers site or customer site.
• Follow the development of the detailed engineering of some suppliers, verifying that the documentation and the electrical diagrams developed are complete and compliant to the project requirements.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Good knowledge of Medium Voltage and Low voltage distribution
• Good knowledge of office package (Excel, Word)
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering calculation tools such as ETAP, SIMULINK-SIMPOWER or similar products.
• Able to understand electrical schematic diagrams
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Good Knowledge of English, writing and speaking
• Willingness to travel
• At least 4 years’ experience in electrical project design
• Workplace: Castellanza(VA)
