We are looking for a professional a Project Manager willing to be part of our Company. The candidate will be responsible for managing the operations perimeter in its entirety.

He/She will lead a cross-functional Team to ensure engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain validation targets have been met for each change.

The candidate will be ultimately responsible for the factory readiness and successful tactical implementation of the program into production. He/she will also constantly communicate with the Site Manager and Operation Manager by organizing and planning the site construction work and start-up activities up to receive of acceptance certificate from Customer.  

Management of:

  • The project in accordance with Company Procedures;
  • The implementation of the Project Execution plan, including quality, safety, cost, time and resources;
  • Effective project meetings with the client and project stakeholders, ensuring effective business relationships are in place;
  • Project reporting and status;
  • Subcontractors for procurement and erection on site;
  • Exposure and risk of the project(Risk Management Process)

The ideal candidate will be able of:

  • Represents the company (if necessary and in accordance with the project organization) in front of clients, licensors and partners, managing relevant contractual aspects and negotiating potential Change Orders;
  • Coordinates the progresses of Engineering , Procurement and Manufacturing or Construction activities ensuring the respect  of the contractual goals;
  • Plans and organizes, in co-ordination with the Operation Manager and  the Site manager, the Site start up according to the contract;
  • Management in terms of  “claim prevention” with Customer and Suppliers.

Have the responsibility of:

  •  
    • Lead the project team.
    • Achieving the Project targets (safety, time, performances, quality and costs) as well as Company targets fixed for the project;
    • Building a Project Executive Budget, shared and formalized with the BU Direction;
    • Taking care of Project P&L under his /her authority;
    • Ensure project profitability and expected cash flow positions;
    • Change order identification, submittal and approval, administration;
    • Verify the progress status of the Project, through periodical Reports, identify any possible delay, decide upon corrective actions to be taken and verify the relevant implementations.

Required profile

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Management, Electronic and Automation);
  • 5+ years of experience as Project Manager, if possible in International turn key, EPC and ESS Projects (>10 M€)  for Steel and Metal Industry experience in the same role;
  • Knowledge of Commercial Principles, Legislation & Standards;
  • Knowledge of the most advanced PC tools; knowledge of Autodesk (AutoCad, Inventor);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments;
  • Organizational capabilities, planning and controlling, customer orientation, results orientation, problem solving, and people management will complete the ideal candidate profile;
  • Good knowledge of English, written and spoken;
  • Willingness to travel.
