Your role in Tenova:  Mechanical Hydraulic Engineer
Description: 

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer willing to join our Pomini Team, with a strong passion for technology and motivation to work in a multicultural and international environment characterized by high technological complexity.

 

You will enter in the Mechanical Team and will work on the following aspects:

 

  • Basic and detailed design of the hydraulic part of our machine tools and auxiliary machines
  • Autonomous management of the bill of materials of hydraulic part to be designed upon request of customers
  • Basic and detailed design of infrastructures for machines installation (typically: piping)
  • Calculation reports on hydraulic design
  • Review of the design of the hydraulic part of the machines, with the Structural Engineers and the Safety Engineers
  • Interface with external engineering firms for detailed design and with hydraulic suppliers for finalization of the projects
  • Review of the work produced by external engineering firms
  • Assessments for quotations
  • Work with other corporate departments, in particular Planning, Purchasing and Production to improve the efficiency of the hydraulic parts of the projects
  • Technical communication with customers
  • Occasionally, visits to erection sites in Italy and abroad to verify progress and for troubleshooting activities.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Technical mechanical high school diploma
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Machine Design address or in Aerospace Engineering with Structural address will be preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more 3D drawing tools. in particular Inventor Professional (Autodesk)
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more 2D drawing tools, in particular Autocad (Autodesk)
  • Fluent in reading electrical diagrams
  • Fluent in reading PLC code
  • Familiarity with the concept of Product Life Management (PLM)
  • Knowledge of SAP is welcome
  • In-depth knowledge of the design of the mechanisms and structures of machine tools, as well as of the related technologies
  • Knowledge of the calculation and sizing procedures of the machine parts.
  • Knowledge of English language
