Your role in Tenova:  Junior Planner
Description: 

We are looking for a Jr. Planner willing to join our Planning Team, with a strong passion for technology and motivation to work in a multicultural and international environment characterized by high technological complexity. You will report directly to the Planning Manager.

 

 

You will be responsible for the following aspects:

 

  1. Support in the development of a detailed project schedule (form Lev 1 to Lev 4) in conjunction with the Senior Planner and its updating on a regular basis.
  2. Support in the development of progress measurement system and its updating on a regular basis during the project lifecycle and in accordance with the Project Procedures.
  3. Support the product lines in site management, procurement, project control and document control in terms of the necessary information, recursive updates and input procedures.
  4. Assess physical progress detecting any deviation from plans.
  5. Provide regular forecasting of project schedule, including key milestones, identifying areas of concern and potential slippage against project schedule.
  6. Attend regular schedule review meetings with the Project Team, Clients, Consortium Partner and Subcontractors.
  7. Collect data to ensure the preparation of progress reports and deliver all the required reporting reports for the major stakeholders (project management team, Client and Tenova top management team) on a recursive basis (weekly and/or monthly).
  8. Prepare the “what-if” delay analysis, supporting the risk management process for performing the Risk Analysis, including Schedule Risk Analysis.
  9. Monitor and control the manhour expenditure for evaluating productivity trends.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Master's degree or Secondary School Diploma in Engineering.
  • Experience of 2 years in planning of EPC Projects for Steel Industry, Oil & Gas, Power industries.  
  • Knowledge of CPM (Critical Path Method) and scheduler tools, such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel is required.
  • Effective knowledge of the English language.
  • Collaborative approach, teamwork, problem-solving skills and flexibility.
